Our Team
Monica Flaherty
Founder & President
Monica Flaherty has been drawn to power tools since the age of six when she first used a drill to help her family put up sheet rock in their newly acquired, but old, home. After graduating from Harvard College in 1992 with a degree in Government, Monica purchased a run down brownstone in Boston, and has been renovating and renting residential real estate ever since.
Concurrent to her real estate work, Monica consulted to large non-profits and Fortune 500 companies. She has experience managing cross-functional teams, developing business plans that aim for transformational change, and driving projects to success. Monica is now taking her 20 years of residential real estate experience + her business consulting experience to design and grow The Flatz.
